MAZ Entertainment was conceptualized in the minds of three avid Charlotte socialites (Michael Paul, Anthony McPherson, and Zam Ladson) during the summer of 2006. Our affinity for the local nightlife was the inspiration and accelerant for the formation of the company.

Driven by a desire to offer young professionals quality entertainment infused with our personal hospitality and enthusiasm, the name MAZ was selected to brand our group. Eventually, the acronym M -A -Z (Michael Anthony Zam) would become more recognizable than the names of its founders.

After more than a year of researching and strategizing the vision finally materialized in late summer 2007. Since its inception, MAZ has become one of the leading sources for innovative nightlife entertainment in the Charlotte region. We have been privileged to host numerous events for our discriminating clientele in the most lavish venues that the Queen City offers. (ie Bank of America Founders Hall, The Ritz Carlton's Urban Garden, Belk Theater @ Blumenthal, The Westin Hotel, Maggiano's, Phoenix, Ruth's Chris, Blue Restaurant and Bar, and many more)

As our name continued to gain recognition and acclaim, MAZ experienced exponential growth and began to attract capacity crowds during the vast majority of our events. Personal attendance records were shattered repeatedly and our organization has since employed more staff to accommodate the rapid growth. The reputation of the company with our patrons, our staff, and the host venues, has been and remains the primary concern of the MAZ partnership.

Summer is almost officially here and MAZ plans to welcome her by pulling out every trick we can think of. We've rented one of Charlotte's largest and sturdiest venues in case THOUSANDS of crazed summer fans decide they want to participate in the MAYHEM!

We've nicknamed this event "The Glow Party" because everywhere you look someone will be waving a glowstick, wearing glow shades, or sporting glow-in-the-dark body paint. We are setting the stage for everyone to come from behind the curtain and act like they've lost their natural minds!

THREE DJs will ensure you hear EVERYTHING you need to hear to keep your feet from being still. There is only ONE way for you to really understand what's about to take place.... BE THERE!!!

Last but not least...MAZ's very own Michael Paul is turning 30 but he plans to act like he's 3! Those of you who have even casually met him KNOW that Mike is the undisputed King of "Ignance" when it comes to partyin' and having a good time. MAZ needs you to help us go ALL OUT as we celebrate this milestone in our ninja's life...
